Our Founder
Hi there! I'm Reagan Fulton, the founder and passionate advocate behind Playful Acre. I've dedicated my life to helping children grow and learn by connecting them with nature. With years of experience as a professional nanny and nanny-mom, I've seen firsthand the incredible impact that nature play and nature-based education can have on a child's development.

The Journey
My journey towards being an educator and advocate began in my childhood, where I faced challenges in a traditional preschool setting and found my love for learning, curiosity, and connection to nature through homeschooling. As a nanny, educator, and leader, I've always am committed to incorporating my passion for nature, learning, and exploration into my work with children.
I am dedicated to preserving the magic of childhood through nature play and equipping, educating, and inspiring caregivers and parents to do the same. I believe that children have a natural inclination towards learning and exploration, which can be nurtured through nature play and other experiential activities. It's my mission to help parents, caregivers, teachers and educators understand how nature-based education and play based learning can benefit their children's development while also providing them with tools to implement these practices at home or in their classroom settings.
In 2017, my son Rowen was born, bringing joy and a new sense of purpose to my life. Together, we've formed deep connections with the children in our care and have embarked on numerous adventures, exploring the world through play and discovery. Playful Acre was created in part to provide him the educational environment I desired for his childhood, but it has grown into so much more.
We strive to create an environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and imagination. We believe that children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore their world through hands-on experiences.
The Mission
Our mission is simple: to provide a safe and nurturing place where children can be themselves and discover their own potential for learning through play.
We aim to to inspire, educate, and equip caregivers and families to preserve the magic of childhood through nature play.
I believe that every child deserves a sensory-friendly learning environment where they can explore, learn, and grow. By creating equitable access to nature-based education, we can foster a love for the outdoors in children and help them develop essential skills for a bright future.
